The reform of Italian bankruptcy law has given a more private and negotiating approach to business crisis so that an entrepreneur in crisis has a number of alternative routes to take. Choosing the optimal option depends on several negotiation factors that must be considered in detail, such as the power of the company against its creditors, the maintenance of employment and the development of industrial district.
Starting from the reform of bankruptcy law, including recent additions to the Development Decree 2012, and from the analysis of negotiation processes, the book aims to analyze the consequences of this reform from the perspective of strategic negotiation, analyzing the profiles of the negotiating composition of corporate crisis and identifying the critical success factors of a high complexity negotiation.
A book for all the players involved in the negotiation, but particularly to entrepreneurs in difficulty, to their creditors, their consultants, to all those people that, due to the current economic climate, are, against their will, for the first time dealing with a crisis situation, proposing a comprehensive analysis of their expectations, of the rights and duties assigned to them by the law.
